We just recently covered Top Shop's London Fashion Week stunt with virtual reality where they "teleported" users to the front rows of a fashion show. Well, Dior went even further. They created their own virtual reality goggles, Dior Eyes, made available in Dior stores. Customers who tried Dior's Eyes could sit in the front rows of their very exclusive Dior Fashion Show, and visit the backstage as well through a 360° virtual video show.
Why this marketing campaign is important?
This campaign was the first that made virtual reality goggles a fashion accessory, and let the customers to virtually participate in a highly exclusive event. You might have not expected to see Dior going this tech-savvy, but we have to admit they nailed it big time.
